Lexington wins 2018 Championship with 8-0 win over Watertown

Melrose – Lexington put together its best offensive outing of the playoffs to sweep the Watertown Reds and win the 2018 Intercity League Championship.

The title is the fourth straight for the Blue Sox, 10th in the past 12 years and 14th overall.

This is the second time the Sox beat Watertown in the finals, sweeping them in 2010.
