Gustin Has Big Night for Trojans, Marchesi K's 12 in 5-0 Wakefield Win

James Roche hit a two run homer and Sean Gustin had four late game RBI's and also picked up the win out of the bullpen as the Arlington Trojans overcame a 4-0 sixth inning deficit to beat the Bulldogs in Reading 6-4.

Former Bentley standout Jarrod Marchesi (1-1)threw a five-hitter, striking out a dozen, as the Wakefield Merchants shutout the Testa Corp. Bombers 5-0 at East Boston Stadium. David Orolowitz knocked in three runs and Dom Sorrentino and Nick Napoli had an RBI each for the Merchants. Anthony Del Prete (0-2) allowed just one earned run in seven innings for the Bombers.

On Wednesday, the Americans and Merchants meet at Walsh Field in Wakefield at 6:00 PM, the Tanners and Chiefs play at Maplewood Park (Malden Catholic) and the Bulldogs and Watertown Reds tangle at Victory Field in 7:45 PM starts and the Trojans visit the Blue Sox in Lexington at 8:00 PM.
