ICL Back to 9 Teams as Watertown Returns, Franchises from Reading & Arlington Added

The Intercity League will be back to its normal number of nine teams for the 2010 season. The Watertown Reds have returned to the circuit after a one year hiatis (see seperate story)and new franchises have been awarded in Reading and Arlington.

The league only fielded six teams in 2009 after the loss of the Cassell Club, the Gately A's and the Reds.

Joe Chiodo will return to lead the Reds back into the ICL. Boston businessman John Halsey will head the newly formed Reading Bulldogs and Brian Murray will pilot the yet to be named Arlington entry.

Seperate press releases providing information on each of the new 2010 teams will be posted as they become available.
